"Hi, could you cut the legs of this bed? It's too high." The weirdest requests received at a Hotel.

Second appointment with the strange and bizarre requests (…orders) received at the hotel, after reading what came across on the net, we will prepare our reception to a real training course.

For example, we tell you the story of an important Swiss billionaire who turned to Thomas Wolfe, concierge at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, asking the following committees by the end of the day: a haircut, a reservation at a restaurant, a flight to Zurich ... a Ferrari GTO. The response of the concierge was quick, laconic: "What color do you prefer, Sir?"."Possibly dark", he replies. He points out: "…and I'm not going to spend more than four million!".

In a hotel in Spain a very demanding customer has found the sound of the sea so irritating to ask the staff to "stop" it and at another hotel in Ukraine they were asked to fill the bathtub with milk. But not any milk, only a particular one sold in glass bottles. Finally, afterhours spent around looking for the right brand, the customer was satisfied.

A year ago the five star group "Great Hotels of the World" published in the Courier Mail a  list of questions equally incredible. From "could you cut this bed for me?" a customer who, complaining of the excessive height of his bed, asked that they cut off its legs (the staff declined), to "I'd like to have bed linens with holes in them", a singer who wanted the staff to make three holes in the sheets (we still don't know why).

Or again: "Is it possible to place the members of this group in singles and to have someone supervise them at night? You know, they are all sexual maniacs… ". It would have been great to see the reaction of the hotel receptionist to this customer demand. Bizarre request, but it's just one of many collected by the hotel chain Best Western.

Our reception is alerted!
